A word from Miss Global Australia, Hannah Swart ...

​

My name is Hannah Swart, and I am 27 years old from Western Australia.

It is my absolute honour and privilege to be Miss Global Australia 2024! I currently work full time in the building industry while completing my degree in Social Science, majoring in Behavioural Studies. In my job, I have found much joy in working with clients to help design their dream homes and assist them throughout the building process.

​

The building industry is very male dominated, and I am the only female employed at the company. As a young woman, I have had to stand in my power, build a lot of strength, resilience and confidence – all of which has aided in a lot of growth within myself.
 
It took me until the age of 25 to recognise that I had a natural ability to understand people and I wanted to take that further with my studies, so that I will be able to aid in the positive mental health of our young people, helping to prevent the need for therapy. I was hesitant to go back to university at first, but I came to realise it is never too late to pursue your passion and further your education. In my down time, I love spending quality time with my friends, family & my soul dog Pennie as well as going to the gym and shopping.
 
My pageant journey started 10 years ago, and my life has never been the same since. Pageantry has given me many opportunities, a platform to use my voice, confidence, lifelong friendships and so much more. I believe that all of my prior experiences have led me to this moment of becoming Miss Global Australia and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Throughout my reign, I hope that I can inspire people to become the best versions of themselves, live the life of their dreams and know that they have the capability to achieve anything their heart desires.

I was born in South Africa and had lived in both Ireland and England, before settling in Australia when I was 13. Through these fortunate circumstances, I am now able to adapt to new environments and embrace new cultures very easily. I feel as though this has set me up perfectly for pageantry, specifically internationals.

​

I am filled with pride and excitement to be representing our beautiful country on the international stage very soon!
